Chetaru turns 10 this month — a decade of designing, building, and growing digital products for businesses across the UK, India, and seven other countries. This post marks the milestone with a quick look at the numbers, the team, and what we have learned along the way.

Where it all started

Chetaru was founded in Indore, India by Chetena and Tarun. The idea was simple: build a digital agency that delivers the kind of end-to-end digital journeys that smaller businesses usually cannot access — coding, SEO, digital strategy, web development, design, UX, and app development — under one roof, at a price small and mid-sized businesses can sustain.

Ten years later, the Indore team has grown into a 25-plus crew of engineers, designers, and digital specialists. In 2016 we opened a second office in Darlington, UK — home to our Digital Connect Managers, strategy team, and content and copywriting specialists.

What has changed in a decade

Plenty. We have worked across most major industry sectors — retail, finance, education, healthcare, hospitality, manufacturing, professional services. We have shipped websites on every major CMS, eCommerce stores on the main platforms, and apps for iOS and Android.

Out of all that work, we built the Digital Connect process — our way of joining strategy, design, build, and ongoing marketing into one coordinated programme so that the work compounds instead of fragmenting across vendors.

Why the milestone matters

Ten years is a long time for a digital agency. The pace of change in this industry is brutal, and the last year alone — through the disruption of the COVID-19 pandemic — has tested every business that depends on the web.

The thing we are most proud of is not the longevity. It is the client work itself: the businesses that grew, the brands that found their voice online, the eCommerce stores that scaled past what their founders thought possible. That is what 10 years of Grow, Evolve, Connect actually looks like.

The next decade starts now. We are not slowing down.
