HPTM® — the High Performing Team Methodology developed by our client Tribe 365® — is the framework Chetaru uses to make sure every person across our offices is bought in, supported, and pulling toward the same “Grow, Evolve, Connect” goal.
This post explains how HPTM works at Chetaru, why it changed the way we run the agency, and how it connects to the way we deliver work for clients.

Every team member is committed to the same direction, and we make sure that direction is something we have all agreed on rather than something handed down. Everyone has commitments outside work — family, study, life — and the team is set up to support those rather than ignore them. Done well, that balance is what makes high performance sustainable instead of a short-lived sprint.
Operational honesty and shared understanding
The core HPTM idea is that honesty is non-negotiable. If anyone is off their game — or being knocked off it by something outside work — the team knows quickly, and we adjust to support them.
That visibility produces two things. It removes the unspoken weight that comes from carrying a problem alone, and it lets us redistribute work so commitments do not slip. Both feed back into enjoyment of the job — which in turn feeds performance.
Every team member uses the Tribe 365® app daily to keep close to those guiding principles. The leadership team went through an intensive HPTM programme together at the end of 2020, and we have run team-wide HPTM development sessions ever since, regularly checking the data to spot drift before it becomes a problem.

Teamwork — visibility and transparency on every project
We use the Teamwork project management platform to record daily activity. That gives the team complete visibility of who is working on what, and it lets us plan client work with realistic capacity instead of optimistic guesswork.
Clients get access to their own secure area inside Teamwork, so they see every piece of work in flight, can comment on it, and can suggest adjustments without back-and-forth emails. Work is organised by client service and product stream, which makes it easy to see where the team’s focus is at any given moment.
Digital Connect — the Chetaru way
After years of testing how agency work actually pays back for clients, we settled on a way of working that produces results consistently. The pattern most other agencies still use — one-off blogs, isolated social posts, a stand-alone email campaign — looks busy but underperforms because nothing builds on what came before.

Standalone “campaign moments” rarely move the long-term numbers that matter. We have done that kind of work in the past. We stopped.
Now every client engagement goes through Digital Solutions — our integrated digital service delivered by a 25-strong team. The principle is simple: every piece of work has a job, sits inside a larger plan, stays within budget, and reads as a genuine extension of the client’s brand.
Nothing starts without being researched, scoped, and judged on likely effectiveness. If a campaign is unlikely to produce a real long-term result, we say so and recommend a different direction. If it is worth doing, the Digital Solutions team works through:
- A plan, with each contributor seeing exactly how their part fits into the whole.
- Assignment of each element to the internal specialist best placed to handle it.
- First drafts, reviewed against the brief.
- Edits based on honest, objective feedback — not approval-seeking.
- Multiple rounds of testing before anything ships.
- Client sign-off.
- Launch.
- Post-launch evaluation, with learnings fed back into the next piece of work.
Continuous improvement is the part most agencies skip. We measure what worked, change what did not, and apply the lesson to the next campaign. That is what keeps the work compounding instead of resetting every quarter.
